I am a now a more selective sifter of the reality that I face. I have discovered that whatever reality I am facing; whatever reality I am talking about, thinking about, remembering, regurgitating, whatever reality I am making statistics of, whatever reality I am holding for very long in my vibration becomes my own reality. I am now particular about the realities that I replicate.

Exercise Your Imagination

Imagination

In the book “Ask & It Is Given” Esther & Jerry Hicks explains how essential it is to use your imagination.

Imagination according to the dictionary means: the faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses.
if you think about it, that is the same definition of Faith. Faith is being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it (www.biblegateway.com).The way I see it, using our imagination is using our Faith.

According to the book instead of living in the present and worry about what you don’t want, they offer an alternative! Think about what you want! Think about how you want the situation to go. Once you think about it, notice the feeling you have while you are thinking about it. At you smiling? Are you feeling good about the thoughts that are crossing your mind? According to the book, if you think of a specific thought for 17 seconds, other thoughts of like mind will come to play. That 17 minutes will become longer and longer until you are exercising your Faith/Imagination faculty without even noticing it.

Try it! I find myself much happier as I use my Faith/Imagination Faculty to think and feel about how I want to see my life. The BEST part? I am manifesting some GREAT things in my life!

Thoughts are things!

Thoughts are things!

I can’t say enough about the book “Ask and It Is Given” by Esther and Jerry Hicks!

I have read this book twice and the second time has literally opened a whole new world for and to me!

I have learned that if I am continuously mindful of how I am feeling within, I can literally stop myself from thinking thoughts that will serve no purpose in my life.
I learned that feeling my feelings is the easiest way to gauge what I am thinking. If I notice that I am not feeling at peace, calm in a state of well-being, all I have to do is think about what I am thinking about and change my thoughts immediately.

A very important question I have learned to ask myself is:
What is the purpose of having thoughts that will not enhance my life?
The answer to this question is one of the lessons this book has taught me.

An example:
I LOVE thinking of different scenarios where I tell someone how I feel about what I am experiencing or how I feel about what they did to me.
Well, I no longer do that, or should I say, I stop myself from doing that now!
I learned that this thinking process is a total waste of time!
After all, the Bible tells me that the words will come to me exactly when I need them.

Knowing that my feelings are a guiding tool/gauge to control my thoughts is the BEST lesson I have learned thus far in 2014.
